i kinda felt that i wanted to start a blog about me…

and i felt that this blog some how just didn’t suit that purpose..

so i started a blog here

you all can check it out…

Its a blog of everything I’ve wanted to talk about… So inshallah that blog will go well…

I doubt i’ll post here again..

We’ll see though..

who stresses when your stressed, even if it’s all the time

who stays up at night to check if your asleep

It’s your mother, you know, She loves you heaps

Who worried herself so much on your first day of school

Who took pride in you when you acted like a fool

She’s your mom, so pay attention right here

when she says something, you gotta listen, you hear?

She prayed for you many times, so you could be happy

she worked so much to see you jump with glee

So watch out what you say and what you do to her

Because disobeying is a sin, to the Quran you should refer

Allah put obedience of parents after him

So make sure you listen, even when you’re filled with anger to the rim

Don’t say anything bad, my dear

Because there will be a great punishment, which you will fear…

You feel like the world just crashed and then drowned..
But the feelings you have of sadness you never think to even frown

The world can be cruel to us at so many times
The feel like..Just to stay alive you have to eat those sour limes

Don’t worry my friend because after hardship comes ease
so try to feel happy and smile …just please..

try your best and keep faith dear in you God up high
he is Allah and he will help you, so don’t give up …just try

When you feel all down and deep in despair…
You’ll feel the world and everything is just so not fair

but Allah is the most fair of all don’t forget
so when bad things happen it’s all right to fret

just let it all out when u feel the time is right…
repent to Allah, and for u forgiveness he may write..

When u let it all out you’ll feel better, you see..
You’ll know for sure after hardship is ease

Lastly, my dear be happy and try …
to smile the most, and least to cry..

Truth:
-no one rides camels anymore (except in camel racing) people here love cars and most deaths happen here from car accidents (may Allah protect us)
-People live in ordinary houses
-not only camel meat is eaten..many other types including sheep and rabbit is common
-there are many non Muslims
-many people don’t wear black these days
-Most people have maids and drivers
-alot of people live in villas

Well that’s just a tidbit of what I could think of now..

Well here’s an update on my life…
Mashallah I have participated in quite a few activities..
1. Debate:
It went well we practiced alot…but we lost..but I don’t really feel bad since I tried my best..plus the debate was on happiness VS money in a career for women…and guess what…we got the money side…but hey..head prefect( our team leader) got second place for best speakers mashallah..
2. Science competition:
We started out OK not winning but in the middle we started losing…our points were down to the negatives…subhanallah then we slowly and steadily gained points…and guess what!…WE WON!! Mashallah…but it’s not that great that we won..it’s greater that I got to have LOADs of fun mashallah..
3. The beginning of second term:
This means new students..and some people leaving..so a friend of mine left to Aussie and a new girl came to our class…pretty nice and new from Canada …will take her some time to learn how it works here..
4. Prefect duty:
Well after 3 weeks off of prefect duty(kicking people out in break time) I finally started duty again…I was lucky enough to be on the Head Prefect’s team in the debate… So I got some time off for debate practice..but now
I am back on duty..and today was a big failure in trying to get people out of class…even with head prefect on my side…. People still remained in their classes..it’s still a fun job though..
5. School exhibition:
We spent 2 whole school days working non-stop on a school project that involved the whole school making a city…half that’s polluted and half that’s not… I some how got to helping head prefect again..and I ended up cutting 108 windows for her building on the first day..and on the second day..I(WE) used pastels to make the building look polluted..making our hands look really really dirty..
6.Flower arrangment competition:
Me and a close friend of mine decided to make a terrarrium for the flower arrangment competition..and guess what…WE WON mashallah…first place..which is pretty cool..mashallah

So over all I had a really busy time this past month..mashallah I had a fun time doing these stuff..
Well now I have midterms..and then vacation…finally..
Hope you all enjoyed reading about my busy times..
I’ll try my best to post more frequently..

And now I have the DEBATE…Y’all need to pray I do well on that cuz I only have 2 weeks to make and practice my part..and I really can’t find much info..and not much time for procrastination..

I don’t many people can help me on this …But the topic is really random..

So the debate is on Money VS. Happiness in a job..for women, that is..

And guess what I’m on the Money side…just perfect..

Oh well…I might be busy but I’ll try my best to post up some more stuff inshallah…

Regret and repentance..

I’m stuck in the middle of my 3-5 page compare and contrast essay about regret and repentance..

It would be lovely if I could get some help..

I pretty much have the rough draft down..just need something to really spice it up..

Finally..

I think this first term has been one of the most hectic ones of my school yearsthis is my 12th year of school and I have one school year left..Since KG I didn’t think 11th grade would be so stressful..

But alhamdulillah..

And since I’m on my 1-1/2 week vacation..I’m back to the blog world..

I don’t post much so I’ll be trying to post more from now on inshallah..

I can’t say they are looking too good..

I had physics today..and I stayed in the exam room for the longest I have ever stayed in my life..

Which is totally freaky..and that is why I am quitting physics and moving over to the much easier subject called Geography..

The grass is looking much greener on that side of the hill at this time..and I know from a few “insiders” that its pretty easy..

Now all I have to do is tell the physics teacher how much I enjoyed learning about lenses,electromagnetic waves, and chromatic aberration..

Then I have to go over to the geography teacher and tell her to put my name on her class list..

Physics teacher will understand..I hope..

I have known her since I moved to this school..which is grade 8 …so she should understand..

She might say something like…you could do it you just need to work harder…but I am tired of stuff I will never use in my life..

Seriously..Will it help me to know how light goes into water and comes out of water..

I don’t think its important…Now its very interesting knowing all these stuff.. that’s why I prefer to study it alone..

Now tomorrow I have literature..and with this years new teacher I have to study for the exam (never bothered myself studying for literature)…

Wednesday is here…basically the last day of the week..

Also today we had the student council elections..where we elect students to change our school…

Anyway….the important thing here is that we had to sit on the CLEAN school ground..oops I really meant filthy…

There were liquids, sand, trash, dead leaves…etc…It was disgusting..and really matched well with the dark red skirts we wear for the school uniform…

Oh I forgot to mention we were sitting outside …NO CHAIRS…I am pretty sure that with the thousands of riyals we pay as tuition can allow them to rent chairs and benches and even tables enough for the whole school and more..

But WELCOME TO MANARAT here..

It’s a wonderful school where the desks don’t match the walls are dirty and …well the bathrooms have no soap and toilet paper..
